We celebrated the Chinese New Year at Ping Pong Dim Sum to support NCC and eat dumplings.
The National Children’s Center hosted its annual fundraiser in Chinatown on the same day as the Chinese New Year, with dragons, drummers, and dancers from the The Hung Tao Choy Mei Leadership Institute, a nonprofit that teaches free Kung Fu, Lion Dance, and Thunder Drumming to DC kids in the summer.
Every day, NCC serves 600 with developmental disabilities in the DC area with education, employment, and community living programs. Here, interim CEO Jesse Chancellor with DCASE's Lisa Ott and her husband Bob Ott.
