The Champions!

Congrats! Yesterday we went to the WTT Finals at the Smith Center, as the Washington Kastles won a record fifth straight World Team Tennis title with a 24-18 victory over the Austin Aces. The team: Coach Murphy Jensen, former world No. 1 Martina Hingis, Sam Querrey, Anastasia Rodionova, Madison Brengle and captain Leander Paes surrounding owner Mark Ein.

We snapped tennis legend and World Team Tennis co-founder Billie Jean King flanked by Forevermark president Charles Stanley and his daughters Olivia and Sophia.

International attorney Michelle Cross Fenty with Reed Smith managing partner A. Scott Bolden. Martina Hingis and Anastasia Rodionova won women's doubles; Leander Paes and Sam Querrey won men's doubles.

Madison Brengle, who replaced the injured Serena Williams, hit the game winner. Martina Hingis and Leander Paes won mixed doubles; Paes was the finals MVP. Here, graphic designer Carolyn Lenhard with gov worker Molly Melchior.
