Last night we also headed to The Institute of World Politics Silver Anniversary Gala and Chancellor's Dinner at the Ritz-Carlton in Pentagon City. We snapped Linda Webster with the evening's emcee, Fox News National Security analyst KT McFarland.

400 members of the faculty, former students, friends and supporters ate a delicious dinner of roasted beet salad and grilled beef tenderloin, followed by a dessert reception. Here, Wanda Berrios, her husband, US Army War College Fellow LTC Elgin Mercado, and USMCR's Maj. Gen. Larry Taylor (ret.).

Congrats to IWP president John Lenczowski, who founded the graduate school dedicated to educating leaders about national security and international affairs 25 years ago. Today it has 40 faculty who are scholar-practitioners, five different Master's degree programs, and 17 graduate certificate programs.

US Army's LTG Michael Flynn (ret.) was the keynote speaker and honoree. He's with country music recording artist and former US Army Ranger Keni Thomas, who sang the National Anthem.
