Workhouse!

The Collectors Showcase at the Workhouse is an annual fundraiser at the former prison in Lorton, now a state-of-the-art gallery. Over 100 gathered to raise more than $30k to support its arts and arts education programs.

All attendees are entered to win a piece of art in a lottery; the art is by the 80 artists in residence at the Workhouse. Fairfax Co Board chair Sharon Bulova, here with new military artist in residence Martin Cervantes, gave remarks.
