We headed to the DC Pavilion behind Union Market for "DC’s Most Anticipated, dog-friendly party," Woofstock DC! We snapped dog lovers Heather Rae with Ozzy, Roberto Carmona and Annie Schlossman with Rory, and Sarah Taylor with Taivas.
Woofstock was a partnership with the Washington Humane Society and the Animal Rescue League and featured live music, craft beer, food trucks, and lots and lots of puppies. Here Shireen Malakooti with Jasper and Stephanie Langan with Charlie.
Throughout the event, dogs available for adoption greeted those many dog-less guests, hoping to find their forever home. While the pups socialized, their owners enjoyed the sunny DC afternoon. Here, Nick Stewart with Otis (who you can follow at @otisonthehill) and Tyler Brent.

As you can probably tell, this event was as much fun for the dog owners as it was for their four-legged companions. Did we mention that the kiddy pools were a popular attraction?
