We stopped by another WHCD pre-party, Welcome to Washington: A Salute to Women in Journalism, at the Kalorama home of Story Partners founder Gloria Story Dittus (right). We snapped her with CNN’s Dana Bash, gov relations guru Heather Podesta, CBS’s Jan Crawford, The New Republic’s Julia Ioffe, and Washingtonian’s Cathy Merrill Williams.

Facebook co-founder and New Republic publisher Chris Hughes is surrounded by staffers and friends. Guests were treated to the Motown sounds of the Out of Town Blues Band as the party helped to kick off the White House Correspondents Dinner Weekend.
