We went to A WINNter Affair for the Young Ambassador's Council of The Children's Inn at NIH at The Powerhouse in Georgetown. We snapped its rep Valerie Hermes, right, with Rachel Cetlin and Grammy winner Ski Johnson.

The popular fundraiser had an evening of cocktails, dancing, music by DJ Neekola, and hors d'oeuvres. Here, Premier Planning Group's Emily Benton, Tidewater Capital's John Ravis, and Cook Political Report's Ashton Barry.

In the last two years, it’s raised more than $100,000 for The Inn, a nonprofit homey place for families to stay while their seriously ill children are at NIH. Here, Wedding Wire's Kelsey McCleary, Madeira School's Virginia Lafloie, and VOCUS's Caitlin Wood.
