We went to "What She Said" at the W Washington DC POV Lounge. We snapped the panelists, Vox foreign policy reporter Sarah Wildman, Washington Post White House reporter Abby Phillip and Politico White House correspondent and CNN political analyst Tara Palmeri with the event’s moderator, Washington Post executive video producer Michelle Jaconi.

This marks the second installment of What She Said, the global speaker series featuring inspiring women from the worlds of fashion, music, design and tech. During the discussion, Phillip talked about the danger of President Donald Trump inciting his supporters to turn around and boo the press in the press pen at campaign rallies, Jaconi recalled the time she lived out of a suitcase for nearly a year and Palmeri mentioned the time former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer accused her of using "idiot" sources. Palmeri then quipped, “I’ll have a job in the White House longer than he will,” much to the delight of the W Hotel audience. Here, W Washington D.C. GM Meade Atkeson, BrandLinkDC’s Barbara Martin and I.M.P.’s Audrey Fix Schaefer, who said she is excited about I.M.P.’s new music venue, The Anthem, opening at the Wharf in October.
