Last night we went to the Katzen Arts Center at American University for preview night for the 2016 Washington Winter Show. 

This year's theme: Through the Eyes of a Child. We snapped Adriane Thormahlen with her husband, PNC Wealth Management's Steve Thormahlen, and Washington Winter Show director Hannah Cox.

Supporters browsed the selection of antiques and art while enjoying drinks and appetizers, including delish fresh oysters. Here, Board member Denise Prince, supporter Loulie Reese, and Vice Chair and interior designer Susan Dowhower.

The show works to support several charity partners, including THEARC in Southeast DC. Here THEARC executive director Edmund Fleet and development director Rahsaan Bernard surround Steinway & Sons' Janet Adams Laird.

There is a special loan exhibit from Gunston Hall, the historic home of American patriot George Mason. Here, the Hall's former Regents: Weasy Blodgett, Elizabeth McCallie, Sallie Craddock, and Caroline Dargan.
