Tuesday night, we headed to Shaw's Tavern for a special performance put on by Gourmet Symphony, VOLKSFEST DC! The Oktoberfest celebration continued Gourmet Symphony's goal of offering experiences that combine food, drinks and classical music in new formats and unconventional settings. We snapped supporters Jeanne Coco, Wayne and Laura Hampton, Bob Coco and his son, Gourmet Symphony's John Coco.

Guests were encouraged to wear lederhosen, tracht or other German traditional attire for their costume contest. Here, DC friends Patrick McIntyre, Shane Reppert and Jeremy Steslicki sporting their lederhosen.

While guests enjoyed the open bar and German food, the polkas & oompahs were played by Barclay Brass.
