Wednesday night, we also went to the grand opening of Vieux Carre, a New Orleans-themed cocktail bar on K Street with equally delicious Cajun fare. Guests enjoyed two full open bars with classic New Orleans cocktails like the Hurricane, the Sazerac and the bar's namesake, a Vieux Carre. Here, The Young Invincibles' Clarissa Unger with The Advanced Energy Economy's Ray Fakhoury and DropBox's Luanda DeSousa.

The stylish, candlelit venue also features a mezzanine level that allows bar patrons to look down at the marble bar and first floor below, reminiscent of the historic buildings on New Orleans’ Bourbon Street. Here, ELXEL partner Asad Ali and developer Sammy Kassim surround MoKi Media's Maha Hakki.
