Last night we went to three terrific events. Well start with the celebration of our military at the USO-Metro Awards Dinner at the new Renaissance Arlington Hotel.

Criminal Minds star Joe Mantegna, a longtime military supporter, received the Merit Award from General Peter Pace. We snapped them in the VIP reception with USO-Metro prez Elaine Rogers.

Tenor Danny Rodriguez and WWEs Sheamus provided some of the evenings entertainment. Theyre with USO chairman John Marselle and his wife Teri.

There was a special salute to medical professionals:Air Force honoree 1stLt. Sarah Batzer-Frye is flanked by husband 1stI.O. Stacy Frye, AF chief-of-staff Gen. Mark Welsh, and his wife Betty.

Boeing builds the Apache helicopters that keep us competitive in the Middle East. We snapped VP Leo Brooks, COS Kathleen Jolivette, and VP James Moran with his wife LMIs Patty Moran.
