Trust For The National Mall Luncheon!

Catching up from the incredible events of the last few days... and still more to come. We're starting with the highly anticipated, ninth annual Trust for the National Mall luncheon in West Potomac Park.

Everyone donned their best bonnet to raise funds to preserve our beautiful Mall. We snapped Inno Product Lab's Natasha Iwegbu, Trust supporter and former DC First Lady Michelle Fenty, and CityBridge founder Katherine Bradley.

The Trust, originally founded in 2007, is the official nonprofit partner of the National Park Service to restore, improve and preserve the National Mall. Here, corporate leadership committee chair Marie Sylla-Dixon joins Sen. Cory Gardner prior to his remarks during the Congressional Reception.

This year's luncheon highlighted the National Park Service's 100th anniversary. Here, Trust for the National Mall chairman Chip Akridge with Tom Hutchinson.

Guests enjoyed a festive cocktail reception before lunch. Here, Angerholzer Broz Consulting's Lindsay Angerholzer, her husband, CSPC's Max Angerholzer, Emergent Biosolutions' Jill Hamaker, and CSPC's Dan Mahaffee.

The luncheon generates much-needed awareness, support and funding for the Trust’s upcoming Mall rehabilitation. Here, Botswana Ambassador David Newman, his wife, Changu Newman, and HOK architect Damon Sheppard.

The delicious lunch featured Icelandic cod and endive salad. Here, Trust supporter Debbie Gibson, Keller Williams' Mary Lou Karch, and Signature Style's Theresa Romer.

A lavish dessert reception had delicious chocolate cupcakes. Here, Bender Foundation's Julie Bender Silver, Trust supporter Meryl Abel, Women's Leadership Committee member Marcy Cohen, and Papadopoulos Properties' Koula Papadopoulos and Barbara Klusaritz.

Real estate developer Theresa Kline, with Trust supporters Lisa Smith, Erin Ritz, Laurie Wolynec and Women's Leadership Committee member Ginger Pickle.
