The Winter's Tale!

With impeccable timing thanks to our May frost, last night we went to opening night of the Shakespeare Theatre Companys The Winters Tale at the Lansburgh Theatre. We followed what happens when King Leontes, played by the extraordinaryMark Harelik (center) believes his faithful wife Hannah Yellandis cheating on him with his best friend, another king, Sean Arbuckle. With the same director as last year'sCymbeline, the play is stripped down, with simple sets and only a handful of actors playing30parts.

After the show, we headed to Asia Nine for the cast party, where we sipped new cocktails, summer melon and passion red. We snapped managing director Chris Jennings, Edwin Santidulana, Strathmores Mike Fila, and STCs Eric Reynolds.
