The Scene Team at Joe’s!

We’ve been taking pictures of all of you for so long, we thought it was only fair for you to see the picture of us our waiter took last night at DC’s hot new restaurant, Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab.

The Scene Team: Alfredo Flores, Richelle Manansala, Merjan Bubernack, Margot Machol, Travis Holler, and Mary-Kate Rasa. In case you think this is all it takes to keep you up to the minute on the DC scene, there are actually four more reporters who couldn’t make it. Aside from when we’re having drinks at Joe’s, we’re always working for you!

Between gulps of oysters, we managed to snap Joe’s managing partner Michael Rotolo and marketing manager Erika Martinez. As always, since the day it opened, Joe’s was packed. DC is its fourth location after Miami, Chicago, and Las Vegas and, because there aren’t enough stone crabs in the world, probably the last.

Our Bisnow Dining reporter Laura Hayes has been visiting all the restaurants serving signature dishes at next Thursday’s Bisnow Super Schmooze, and she snapped this of Joe’s chef/partner Gary Baca. Super Schmooze guests will get to try Joe’s rock shrimp and bay scallop ceviche on June 12 at exciting new District Center, 555 12th St NW. We have 25 great chefs, fantastic open bar with specialty cocktails, and top business networking in a fun atmosphere and no long lines. Join us. And if you don’t get Dining Bisnow, subscribe for free.
