Last night we went to the 32nd Annual RAMMY Awards at the Convention Center as winners were announced for the best restaurants, chefs, mixologists, and top foodservice industry professionals.
The highly anticipated gala was presented by RAMW, the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington, which this year announced winners in 20 award categories. We snapped its new president Kathy Hollinger with Events DC president Greg O'Dell.
Congrats to Ripple, which won both Upscale Casual Restaurant of the Year and Wine Program of the Year. Here, its chef Marjorie Meek-Bradley, GM Danny Fisher, and owner Roger Marmet.
The Joan Hisaoka Allied Member of the Year was given to ProFish: Nayely Villegas, Greg Casten, Glenn Casten, and John Rorapaugh.
