The Nature Connection Opening Reception!

Last night we headed to Long View Gallery in Shaw for the opening reception for The Nature Connection by artist Mike Weber.

Mike Weber’s art is a combination of paint and nature photography, mostly captured in the wilderness of America’s national parks. We snapped the artist bookended by patrons Susan Cole and Ivan Castaneda.

Guests enjoyed beer, wine and cocktails while a sampling of appetizers were passed. Here, Justice Policy Institute's Paul Ashton and realtor Taylor Carney.

Mike Weber's unique form of mixed media is about the process of layering different materials to create the entire image. Here, intern Marwa Achour joins consultants Charlie Missrain and Hannah Taylor.

Supporters Omar Malik and Tarek Elilily join Becca RollinsNicolle Wainer and Emily Pence.

The exhibition will run through Feb. 14. Here, Raffa's Marty Nielsen, Eleanor French, and Laura Baker.
