The Men’s Event!

Last night we went to The Men’s Event at The Capital Grille to benefit prostate cancer research at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Dr. Louis Weiner announced advancements in immune therapy that could translate into longer survival. We snapped him with FosterSoft’s Samuel Foster, Cooper & Crickman’s Robert Cooper, DB Consulting’s Gerald Boyd, and Affinity Networks’ Arthur Henderson.

As the men’s answer to Women and Wine, guests heard a cancer debrief and bonded during cocktails and dinner. Here, PWC’s Ryan Lauridsen, Cordia Partners’ Mitch Weintraub, and UBS’s (and event co-chair) Vic Seested and Howard Rothman.

Nearly 30,000 men will die from prostate cancer this year in the US. To fight, these men have convened for 15 years, raising over $2 million for Georgetown’s Cancer Center. Here, long-time co-chair and Serten Advisors’ Paul Schweitzer is flanked by CBRE’s Jeffrey Roman and Peter Carroccioi.
