The Last Ship!

Last night we also went to the premiere of The Last Ship at the Newseum, a new series by blockbuster filmmaker Michael Bay (Transformers). We snapped executive producer and actor Jocko Sims, who plays Dalton Burk, with actress Christina Elmore, who plays Lt. Alisha Granderson.

The series was filmed on an active Navy destroyer. Here, executive producer Steve Kane with actor John Pyper-Ferguson.

CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer. The Last Ship stars Eric Dane (Grey's Anatomy), Rhona Mitra (Strike Back), Adam Baldwin (Chuck), Travis Van Winkle (Heart of Dixie), Charles Parnell (Pariah), Christina Elmore (Fruitvale Station), Sam Spruell (Snow White and The Huntsman) and Marissa Neitling (Leverage).

The series, based on William Brinkley's popular novel, debuts Sunday, June 22 at 9:00pm on TNT. Here, actor Eric Dane, who plays Commander Tom Chandler, commanding officer of the USS Nathan James, is bookended by Kara Dors-Steinberg and Scott Fish.
