The Hour!

Last night we headed to The Hour for a private viewing at the Hemphill Fine Arts gallery. We snapped Kate Bakes’ Katelyn Sornik and Goldilocks Goodies’ Emily Robins who organizes the monthly series combining fashion, art, music, and healthy food and drinks.

Local bakeries provided gluten-free treats, like black current macaroons from DC Patisserie, and chocolate coffee bars from Kate Bakes. Here, Gluten Free? Gimme Three’s Anna Luke, and Gluten Free Foodies Review’s Sean Dillon and Kelly Sajonia.

Guests also sipped on wine and drinks from Omission Beer and Angry Orchard cider. Here, Baklava Couture’s Katerina Georgallas, Hemphill Fine Arts and Glutie Foodie’s Shira Kraft, DJ G Events’ Josh Goldman, and Clarks Americas’ Jeff Kraft.

At the reception, guests previewed Hemphill’s new exhibits, Marley Dawson’s Statics and Dynamics and Martin Puryear’s sculptural Recent Prints. Here, NASAA’s Valerie Mirko and Choosing Raw’s Gena Hamshaw.

Alfredo Flores, Travis Holler, and Richelle Manansala contributed to this issue.
