Last night we began the festivities for this weekend’s White House Correspondent’s Dinner at the first official pre-party, The Global Beat, at the UN Foundation. We snapped Mr. President himself (of ABC’s Scandal, of course) actor Tony Goldwyn surrounded by Foreign Affairs Magazine editor Jonathan Tepperman, and Council on Foreign Relations prez Richard Haass; front, the party’s hosts, Devex CEO Raj Kumar and UN Foundation CEO Kathy Calvin.
This year marks the 100th Anniversary of the White House Correspondents Association and press corp members and celebs are flocking to DC for the weekend; this party celebrated international journalism. Here, Edelman’s Devon Cohen and Rebecca Wardell with UN Foundation’s Erika Briceno.
