Last night we headed to the Omni Shoreham in Woodley Park for the 6th annual DC Region Teach For America Gala. We snapped TFA supporter Skye Raiser and her husband, Goldman Sachs' David Perlin, with DC Region board chair Katherine Bradley and McGuireWoods Consulting's Jim Dyke.
The TFA DC Region has over 2,800 corps members and alumni leading the charge for quality education. At the cocktail reception: CEO Elisa Villanueva-Beard, DC board member Joey Sloter, and former Corps member Stephanie Kapsis.
Guests enjoyed an open bar cocktail reception with passed hors d'oeuvres; we loved the Kobe beef dumplings. Here, TFA supporter Scott Jaeckel, Glover Park Group's Alex Mistri, his wife, Amy McKennis, and TFA DC Region executive director Adele Fabrikant.
Guests enjoyed a three-course dinner of arugula salad and flat iron steak over risotto with a dessert selection following the program. Here, Carlyle Group's Michael Arpey and his wife, Stacie Arpey, join Distributed Sun's Jeff Weiss and his wife, DC board Member and TTR Sotheby's Christie Weiss.
