Last night, we went to Taste of the Nation at Nationals Park. Local restaurants, top chefs and mixologists gathered at the ballpark to support Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign to end childhood hunger. We snapped Belga Cafe's Greet DeKeyser, Charlie Palmer Steak's Nadine Brown, Betsy, Belga Cafe and BToo's Bart Vandale and Black Bear Tavern's Barry Clapsaddle.

Guests enjoyed bites of The Fainting Goat's foie gras cajeta cremeux on a five-spice waffle, Whaley's pineapple mojo shrimp, Oceanaire's spicy tuna poke and Beuchert's Saloon's braised lamb porcini puree. Here, Alba Osteria's Nancy and Roberto Donna, and Michel Richard's Eric Krempp.

Mixologists mixed up favorite cocktails, like the Passenger's highland spring punch with whiskey, pineapple, lemon and spiced chocolate, 2 Birds 1 Stone's 10 Kai Poolside with Westland whiskey, black tea and ginger, and Truxton Inn's Bottled Passion with Remy Martin 1738 and passion fruit. Guests also indulged on Buttercream Bakeshop's unicorn-inspired dessert table, Sugar Shack's peach bellini donut holes, Le Diplomate's foie gras macarons, and Insomnia Cookies' snickerdoodles and Captain Cookie & the Milk Man's classic chocolate chip.
