Taste Of Studio!

Saturday, we went to Taste of Studio at Studio Theatre. We snapped Tico GM Jason Hardy with McAllister & Quinn's Ellen Riddleberger and Department of the Treasury's Thuy Morzenti.

The multi-level food and beverage experience featured Logan Circle neighborhood restaurants and bars. Taste of Studio is a new partnership between Studio Theatre and Midcity Dog Days. Here, Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab sommelier Paul Lysek and Joe's marketing manager Amy Ingraham with Slipstream's Rachel Silverio and Kate Ham.

The Studio Theatre fundraiser allowed guests to explore tasting rooms featuring sample-sized bites and sips from neighborhood restaurants including Birch & Barley, B Too, Churchkey, Compass Coffee, Ghibellina, Mulebone, &pizza, ShareSpace DC, Sotto and Tico. Here, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America's Jake Beck, Mahou's Giuliana Osuna and consultant Dan Appleton.

Guests also had a chance to see performances by the cast of "Hand to God," mini-workshops and demonstrations from the faculty of the Studio Theatre Acting Conservatory, and a behind-the-scenes look into Studio’s in-house Scene Shop with the production staff. All proceeds from the event support Studio's community engagement initiatives. Here, Arnold & Porter's Elizabeth Blake and Clark Construction's Patrick Blake.
