Last night, we headed to the Howard Theatre for A Taste of Shaw. The event, organized by Shaw Main Streets, highlighted more than 20 different restaurants and bars in the Shaw neighborhood. We snapped council members Robert White and Brianne Nadeau surrounding Lee's Flowers owner Stacie Lee Banks.

Upon entering the theater, guests were greeted by a festive photo booth before heading into the main floor featuring appetizers and specialty cocktails prepared by the assortment of Shaw-based restaurants and bars. Among our favorites were the Mexican cocktail from Service Bar DC, and the Dan Dan Noodles from new Hong Kong restaurant Tiger Fork. Here, Bazaar Spices' Ivan Fitzgerald with Georgetown's Chris Chambers, his wife, Diane Chambers, and Lettie Gooch's Theresa Watts.
