Taste of Arlington!

This weekend we went to Ballston's 28th Annual Taste of Arlington on Wilson Boulevard. 40,000 came to Arlington’s largest food festival to enjoy 50 restaurants, a beer and wine garden, live music, a kid zone and a bark park. We snapped Ballston BID CEO Tina Leone, ABC7’s Jeff Goldberg and Arlington County Board’s Walter Tejada.

At the VIP Pavilion, there was unlimited beer and wine, SER’s txipirones, which is squid cooked in its ink, and Water & Wall’s grilled shrimp skewers. Here, two-time Olympic medalist and World Cup champion Briana Scurry, and Livewire’s Erica Hawkswort and Mollie Wagoner.

We loved Redrocks’ honey sriracha wings, Mussel Bar’s boar belly with smoked red curry aioli, and Circa’s grilled bison sliders. Here, National Network for Youth’s Amy Louttit, Ernst & Young’s Chris Auzmendi, Ultimate Staffing’s Jennifer Ford and consultant Art Menna.

Taste of Arlington proceeds benefit the Arlington Food Assistance Center. Here, Window Source of VA’s Chris Bazow, Robert Half’s Ashley DiBitetto, ADI Construction’s Erica Selekman and Colliers’ Chris DiBitetto.

Richelle Manansala contributed to this issue.
