Last night we also stopped downtown to check out Taco Tuesday at celebrity chef Todd English’s fun new restaurant MXDC on 14th Street. We thought the letters stood for Roman numerals (1510?) but learned they represent Mexico and DC, which explains the wonderful Latin fusion tastes. We loved the tuna tartare on thick corn chips, pork tacos, guacamole with bacon and, of course, the margaritas. We snapped him bookended by PR mavens Victoria Michael and Erika Gutierrez; Penne Dann is left.
