Prior to the show, guests had an hour of socializing, wine tasting and cocktails. We snapped Synetic’s Sierra Comer with International Justice Mission’s Rebekah York, Hannah Bill and Rachel Tams.

Piano music filled the room and a live painting entertained the crowd from Gallery Art Underground. Here, Howard University’s Briana Brown, Katherine Ahn, Trang Vu, Paula Ingram Darasaw, and Karelis Salas.

Local boutique Gossip set up a trunk show with spring dresses, denim and jewelry, and the Crystal City Wine Shop passed out wine. Here, Capitol Hill neighbors and Synetic supporters, USGS’s Carol Meteyer, Sue Carlton, Sue Chase, TLA Communications Toni Aluisi, and Help Unlimited Temps’ Jackie Griffin.

Alfredo Flores, Mary Kate Rasa & Casie Kiel contributed to this issue.
