Sweating for Good!

Yesterday, we headed to the newly opened SoulCycle to join some DC star chefs for a cardio party on a bike with all proceeds benefiting DC Central Kitchen, which fights hunger through food, a culinary job training program for unemployed adults, and nutritious school meals.

We snapped some of the ride’s hosts: Restaurant Eve GM and sommelier Todd Thrasher and his wife and The Majestic GM Maria Chicas, with star chefs Restaurant Eve’s Cathal Armstrong, Pizzeria Orso’s Will Artley, and Ripple’s Marjorie Meek-Bradley; at right, DC Central Kitchen’s Rock Harper, Katherine Eklund, and Liz Reinert surround Venga co-founder and DC Central Kitchen board member Winston Lord.

Many were glad that SoulCycle, a premier indoor cycling studio, has finally made its way from NY and LA to DC, and will soon open its doors in Bethesda. Here, ride host and personal trainer Jason Yoo with fiancé and Bloomingdales’ Heather Guay. Congrats!
