Wednesday, we went to the inaugural SUPERFIERCE DC at the National Museum of Women in the Arts. We snapped host committee member Allison Priebe, founder of Queen BeeDesigns, with Dolci Gelati's Anastasia Dellaccio and environmental consultant Tania Taylor.

Maggie O'Neill, a fine artist and co-founder of design and fabrication firm SwatchRoom, created Superfierce with the mission of growing a national mentorship program for aspiring artists and supporting female-focused charities. Guests enjoyed specialty cocktails, champagne and wine, treats from Dolci Gelati, catered food from Ridgewells and an exclusive artist panel. Salon deZEN's Nina Hastings, Mary Elizabeth and Sarah Gabriel with one of the art works on display.

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Superfierce DC raised funds on behalf of EBeauty, a local nonprofit that supports women undergoing treatment through the EBeauty Community, Wig Exchange Program and other charitable initiatives. Superfierce DC is the first in a series of charitable events hosted by female artists paying it forward. Here, Los Gitanos Vintage's Tara Papanicolas with The Pink Line Project's Philippa Hughes.
