Split!

Last night we also went to the Split launch party at Long View Gallery for the new, quick, cheap, shared ride service for on-demand transportation. We snapped CEO Ario Keshani and Dan Winston next to one of their cars.

Split is app-based and currently provides services only in the District. Here, Thomas and Ann Friedman, and Hennie and Khosrow Keshani.

Everyone enjoyed sips from an open bar and bites of polenta and sausage, mini crab cakes and tacos. Here, AAAS’ Caroline Seabac, FCPS’ Courtney Johnson, Split’s Sara Pierce, Think Food Group’s Raya Steinberg, and Teach for America’s Nora Simon.

500 guests attended the launch party, most who conveniently "split" over and took advantage of the first three rides free promotion. Here, Catchy’s Ruben Musca, Expedia’s Rafael Melo, Joe Sprott, Cook Nook’s Neil Shah, and Federal Reserve’s Anjana Ravi.
