Space Dance!

At the Kennedy Center, DC's foremost modern dance organization, The Dana Tai Soon Burgess Dance Company, premiered We Choose to go to the Moon, a new work resulting from collaboration with NASA. Here, DTSBDC costume designer Judy Hansen, choreographer Dana Tai Soon Burgess, and Honorary Co-chairs Georgie Warner and Jane Rosenthal Cafritz.

The visually stunning dance included sound bites from interviews Burgess conducted with space experts and images from satellites. The sold-out show received a standing ovation. At a VIP reception in the Terrace Lobby following the performance: Deborah Sams Sczudlo and DTSBDC Board Chair Bonnie Kogod.
