Sip.Taste.Play!

Last Friday night we headed to Mess Hall in Brookland for Sip.Taste.Play!

We snapped DC friends Dilara BogutAnais Furia, Luisa Cardanes and Asta Bareisaite enjoying the outdoor space with delicious and refreshing cocktails.

Sip.Taste.Play is the creation of Chef Johanna Hellrigl and served as the Launch Party for XII by Johanna's Table, a monthly pop-up dinner series rotating to different locations across the city. Here, Chef Johanna Hellrigl prepares one of the many dishes served to attendees.

Attendees dined throughout the evening with select passed appetizers such as feta melon skewers and summer squash gazpacho. Here, MoKi Media's Dannia Hakki and Maha Hakki surround financial analyst Benjamin Martinez.

In addition to the delicious food, attendees also enjoyed a selection of unique and refreshing beverages, including frosé sno-cones, DC Brau pilsner, "The Bearded Lady" rum punch and Austrian white wine. Here, local DJ and Closed Sessions' Nathan Thost performs to the delight of those attending.

Throughout the evening, guests were entertained by various performers and carnival-type games while enjoying the music of the DJ. Here Jen and Carl Tugberk join John Crain and Shannon Ryan

David Frederickson joins Ruby Nicholas and David Dimitrious.

Local drag queen and D.C. legend The Mystical Pussy Noir provided tarot card readings to those curious about their future.
