Sips & Dips!

Saturday night we went to Sips & Dips: A Capitol Event at Jones Day law firm for the benefit of the Gladney Center for Adoption. We snapped Potomac Sports Chiropracter’s Matt Fontaine, Cisco’s Helju Nommik, and EMC’s Melanie Rowland.

A silent auction and wrapped gift donation table raised funds to support the Gladney Center’s efforts to build forever homes for children around the world. Here, KK McCart, Rodan and Fields’ Layton Griffin, Sips & Dips co-chair Karen Angeles, The Advisory Board Company’s Sarah McElwain, and Sips & Dips committee member Kate Knysh.

We all enjoyed the incredible view of the entire city from Jones Day offices. Here, Orbital Sciences Corporation’s Rob Saunders is surrounded by Ellucian’s Holly Kortright, Jenny Lee, Rich Lee, Tracy Saunders, and Toby and Heidi Williams.

There were delicious appetizers, Mimi’s stuffed cupcakes. Here, psychotherapist Maribeth Hager, Sips & Dips co-chair Nicole Walters, Michele Welch, who chose the great wine, HMI’s Dwight Mules, and Sinai Hospital’s Lisa Mules.

There was a heart wrenching video about foster care and the adoption process. Here, Infopro’s Alex Palmieri, Sapient’s Sandy Kim, Association of Women's Health’s Jody Hoyos, Grossmuellers Design’s Jenna Randolph, and Strategic Government Solutions’ Kadian Mitchell.

Travis Holler and Liz Ovits contributed to this issue.
