ABC7’s Rebecca Cooper and PR guru Jill Collins hosted a Sip & See, a Southern expression meaning Meet the Baby. They’re bookending the new moms they honored: NBC4’s Angie Goff and ABC7’s Alison Starling. They’re with Alison’s husband, NBC White House Correspondent Peter Alexander, and the two really special guests, 10-month-old Bob Ellis and 7-month-old Ava Alexander.

The 30 TV women, anchors, and producers took over two private rooms at Carmine’s and munched on meatballs and antipasto and sipped Prosecco. Well, other than Brandlink’s Jayne Sandman, who’s due for her own Sip & See event in June. She’s with Fox 5’s Laura Evans and WUSA9’S Andrea Roane, Lesli Foster, and Monica Samtani.
