Signature Chefs Gala!

Last night we stopped by The Ritz for the March of Dimes Signature Chefs Gala.

Dozens of top DC chefs teamed with celebrated mixologists, bartenders and vintners to offer fall dishes paired with wine and cocktails. We snapped Compass Coffee founder Harrison Suarez, B...'s Who Brunch and host committee member Cori Sue Morris, ABC 7 anchor Jummy Olabanji and Buzzfeed’s Darren Sands.

Guests supported the organization’s mission to prevent birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. PWT’s Cathy Vagnerini and her son Daniel Vagnerini and his wife, Mantech International’s Heather Vagnerini.

Infinitive’s Kelly Kramer joins Closet Factory’s Ronna Rosenberg and her husband, AARP’s Ellis. A large silent auction included entertainment and leisure packages, in addition to many private dinners hosted at top DC restaurants.

Here, TTR Sotheby’s Victoria Kilcullen and Cynthia Steele Vance join their friend Annapolis’ Deborah Lowham. Many of the chefs featured some of their new menu items. Our favorite was the Fois Gras Panna cotta from Bastille in Alexandria.

Since 1996, the event has raised more than $1M. All proceeds benefited March of Dimes Maryland National Capital Area Chapter. Freedom Bank’s Charlie Hutchison joins Federated IT’s Katie Alber and NACR’s Michael Vagnerini.
