Scena Heads to Prague!

We went to the Goethe Institut for Scena Theatre, which hosted a live theatrical fundraiser to support the revival of Kafka's Report to an Academy in the Prague Fringe Festival. SCENA staged it in the Capital Fringe Festival last summer to stellar reviews. We snapped Boston U professors Alfred and Maria Miller with actor Lee Ordeman, who was in HBO's Game Change with Julianne Moore.

Before Scena goes to Prague to perform for five nights, we saw a special performance of Report featuring Artistic Director Robert McNamara. He's flanked by German director Gabriele Jakobi, who adapted and directed the play, and sound designer Denise Rose.

There were cocktails and hors d'oeuvres from Old Europe Restaurant. Here, Scena stage manager Lena Sauns bookended by U of Arizona Hillel’s Amalia Mark and painter Liz Reed.
