We went to the National Geographic Society for a Russian Cultural Gala by the American-Russian Cultural Cooperation Foundation and American University’s Initiative for Russian Culture. We snapped Strategic Investment Group CEO Brian Murdock and founder Hilda Ochoa-Brillembourg surrounding National Geographic’s Heidi Fahey.
The gala honored the role photojournalism and cinematography play in promoting greater cultural understanding between the US and Russia; some of the top figures in those professions gave remarks. Here the Russian Embassy’s Demitri and Angelica Cherkashin with Anna and Edward Sinitsyn.
