We watched DC’s coolest moms strut their stuff down the runway at the Dupont Circle Renaissance Hotel for Runway Moms for a Cause. We snapped Glamour Holics’ Myss Stephens, designer Kristi Love, and Otim Williams Communications’ Adra Williams.

We spent time backstage with the DC Power Moms before the show. Here, ABC7’s Dr. Katy Nelson, Tigerlily Foundation founder Maimah Karmo, Spotted MP’s Maurisa Potts, and model Laura Michelle Routzahn.

Runway Moms for a Cause is a fashion initiative with a mission to serve on issues that affect children in America. This year’s beneficiary was Kidsave, a DC-based organization supporting orphanages and foster programs. Here, Studio D’Maxsi fashion designer Afua Sam, SVELTE’s Elaine Mensah, and TV host Sonya Gavankar.

The fashion event featured beautiful designs by the event’s founder Lara Akinsanya. Here, event producer Maggy Francois, Men Against Breast Cancer’s Brian Silver, and Style Bible: What to Wear to Work author Lauren Rothman, who also emceed the fashion show.
