Ritz-Carlton State Dinner!

We went to the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner 25th Anniversary Dinner. The Ritz celebrated its anniversary with a state dinner-themed reception. Guests were greeted by hotel staff on a red carpet before entering a beautifully decorated ballroom in crystals, candles and floral centerpieces. Here, its general manager, Rajesh Khubchandani, Host Hotels & Resorts CEO Ed Walters and The Ritz-Carlton Hotels' Pascal Duchauffour.

Executive chef Christopher Johnson created an elaborate tasting menu, which included smoked scallop carpaccio, poached lobster tail and seared foie gras, paired with hand-selected wines by sommelier Vincent Feraud.
