We went to Fabio Trabocchi's Casa Luca for the Fashion Group International of Greater DC Rising Star Awards, honoring one rising star in each fashion category, ranging from women's ready-to-wear to fine jewelry and accessories. Congrats to nominees Saint Clair jewelry's Cameron Archer and Go Kate Shoot photographer Kate Warren. They bookend jewelry presenter Sylvia Gottwald; at right, Michelle Obama's makeup artist Carl Ray.

Guests mingled with DC's most fashionable as they enjoyed passed wine and tunes from DJ Heather Femia. We snapped T.H.E Artist Agency founder Lynda Erkiletian with colleagues Elizabeth Centenari and Maureen Hidalgo.
