Friday night, we went to the Dreams For Kids DC's Pre-Holiday Happy Hour at Sugar. The event benefited Holiday For Hope, a day of fun this coming weekend to celebrate DFKDC's accomplishments, volunteers and families. Dreams For Kids DC provides life-changing adaptive clinics to empower children with physical and developmental disabilities to unite with their peers and realize their potential. At the Holiday For Hope celebration, DFKDC kids will wrap presents for kids in homeless shelters, teaching them their disability cannot hold them back from philanthropy.
