Power Women in DC Tech!

Normally, when Brad Pitt comes to town, we'd start with him. But our own Bisnow tech party last night celebrated our region's most amazing women, so they're going first!

Last night we celebrated Bisnow’s 2014 Power Women in DC Tech at Crystal City’s Disruption Corporation. We snapped the 40 honorees, the area’s most accomplished women from companies in the tech and start-up communities.

Amazon’s Teresa Carlson (right) welcomed the honorees, recalling how thrilled she was the first time she made a list for top tech execs—by Bisnow, years ago. She’s with honoree, Riide co-founder Amber Wason.

Hundreds came to the collaborative space, and enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, like beef sandwiches and roasted veggies, open bar, and raffle. Here, honorees Social Radar’s Shana Glenzer and Silica Labs/ DC FemTech’s Stephanie Nguyen flank DC’s Erin Horne McKinney.

P3Hired’s Beth Yoder, Clarabridge’s Emily Markmann, Lauren Baskin, and WilmerHale’s Stephanie Evans.

Newspop.net’s Cathy Stocker and Virginia Coyne with honoree Disruption’s Brooke Salkoff and husband CampEasy’s Jonathan Salkoff.

Honoree Bloompop’s Shavana Miller, CNF Investments' Sara Zulkosky, Madison Marquette’s Christina Davies, Phase One Consulting’s Elizabeth Nguyen.

Agora Culture's Johnica Reed, JLL’s Steve Burman, and Fishbowl’s Kristyn Reed-Salow.
