Dreams For Kids DC held a Pointe du Mardi Gras fundraiser at The Madison with Executive Director Glenda Fu surrounded by entrepreneur Bobby Finkbeiner and Ray Heisler Music's Ray Heisler (front) and Cradle Systems' Kiel Chesley and Solar City's Sam Kirsch.

Event organizer N2 Events founder Nick Sanchez is with reps of the food trucks that provided Creole food for the New Orleans celebration: Peruvian Brothers' Giuseppe Lanzone, Pho Wheels' Huy Nguyen, and Mason Dixie Biscuit Co's Jason Ghering and Ayeshah Abuelhiga.

Funds raised will provide adaptive sports clinics for disabled kids. On Friday, the Capitals will host a Dreams For Kids Extreme Recess Hockey Clinic at Kettler Iceplex. Here, photographers Marcus Bennet and Vithaya Phongsavan bookend Pelonkey's Ciera Gallub.
