Pascal Blondeau!

We attended a very special, multi-art performance by Pascal Blondeau at the Phillips Collection! The multimedia show paid tribute to Ultra Violet, Pascal's mentor, muse of Salvador Dali and a member of Andy Warhol's Factory in the '60s. We snapped Pascal performing "Only You Could Have A Face Like That/Avec Ta Gueule Pas Comme Les Autres" with composer and singer Laurence Cohen accompanying him and Vincenzo Mingoia on the piano.

The performance took place in the Phillips Mansion's Music Room and featured a play, accompanied by songs, readings and the personal stories of the friendship between Ultra Violet and Pascal. Here, Sediver CEO Rene Tabouret joins Anais de Viel Castel and her husband, Rubicon's Renaud de Viel Castel, following the concert at the French Ambassador's Residence.

One of the important highlights and memories during the performance was of Pascal's collaboration with Ultra Violet on their exhibition 9/11 OH MY GOD, held at The Invisible Dog in Brooklyn. Here, MPN Research Foundation's JoAnn Mason and her husband, developer John Mason, with Robert H. Smith Family Foundation's Michelle Smith.

Following the performance, guests were invited over to the Residence of the French Ambassador for a reception to celebrate Pascal's performance. Here, DC Living's Ed Lichorat with the Washington Post's Jonathan Capehart.

During the reception, guests greeted Pascal and his co-performers as they made a grand entrance. Here, Cesar Perdomo joins Izette FolgerDawn Saul and Irina Rapoport.

Guests enjoyed French pastries and an open bar featuring French wine and champagne. Here, Shelley Ross-Larson with Washington Life's Kevin Chaffee and Hint Consulting Group's Dovile Drizyte.
