DC has become a ballet town! Friday we also went to the Kennedy Center for The Washington Ballet's Peter Pan, danced by Jonathan Jordan. The characters fly through the air to Neverland with the help of the famous Flying by Foy, the world’s top theatrical flying service.
Artistic director Septime Webre adapted the high-flying adventure into a dazzling production, which runs through April 27. Here, dancers Luis Torres and Sona Kharatian.
This full-length production has extravagant costumes for Wendy, Peter, Captain Hook, and the Lost Boys. After the show, we snapped the State Department’s Ian Edwards with Christine Malec.
