The philanthropic event featured cocktails, light bites, a DJ, dancing and a silent auction. Guests were asked to don their red tie cocktail attire by wearing their favorite red accessories to show support of the American Heart Association’s mission of building healthier lives, free from cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Here, Natalie Jayo with figure skater Jacquelin Zimmerman and Garchik Consulting Solutions’ Jesse Garchik.

The event was hosted by PULSE DC, the young professionals committee of the American Heart Association’s Greater Washington Region. Members serve as ambassadors of the AHA, engaging others to live healthier lives and promoting heart health through various activities focused on fitness and nutrition, as well as spreading awareness about heart disease, stroke and the associated community impact. Here, artist Janie Stewart, who donated her artwork to the event’s silent auction, is flanked by her sons Glenn, Chad and Geoffrey.
