Last night we headed to i Ricchi in Dupont for a special evening of cocktails, live painting and pasta. We snapped the artist, Shawn Michael Perkins, with the restaurant's chef/ owner Christianne Ricchi.
As we watched, Shawn aka Perkasso painted a cherry blossom-adorned Washington landscape, which was auctioned at the end of the evening. Here, TeamPeople's Susan Wittan and Ernie Crow join Meredith Fine Properties' Amy Berry and her husband, former ABC News anchor and the night's auctioneer, Paul Berry.
Guests enjoyed a wide selection of cocktails and appetizers while watching Shawn paint a masterpiece. Here, attorney Justin Thornton, his wife, nonprofit patron Debra Thornton, artist Tina Palmer, and entrepreneur Tony Cord.
Proceeds from the evening support the National Cherry Blossom Festival and the highest bidder's charity of choice.
