Last night we also stopped by the Hay Adams Hotel to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS), and the induction of its 1 millionth member. We snapped NSCS Founder Stephen Loflin flanked by Korn/Ferry International’s Jeff Summer, Biouic’s Anne Berkowitch, and by America’s Promise Alliance's David Park.
The night’s theme: Trust your crazy ideas. Stephen says he came up with the “crazy idea” for NSCS in 1994 while cooking a lasagna dinner for friends; swag bags included cooking spatulas with this motto on the handle.
