Last Thursday, we headed to the Embassy of Finland for the 11th annual installment of Nordic Jazz! We snapped the United Nations' Eirik Kollsrud with the World Bank's Ingrid Bjerke, IMF's Tove Sand and the World Bank's Marianne Krey-Jacobsen.

The annual event highlights jazz musicians and bands from Scandinavia through a series of performances at various embassies throughout DC. Here, members of the band IKONOSTASIS perform.

Guests enjoyed performances from the Finnish-Norwegian-American trio and Norway's Gard Nilssen's Acoustic Unity band, which is one of the most requested and active groups of young jazz musicians on the European circuit. Here, staff from the Inter-American Development Bank, Humberto Santos, Anna-Karin Jansson and Marian Licheri, surround Finnish Embassy Cultural Counselor Annina Aalto.

Prior to the start of the concert, guests enjoyed an open bar, which was followed by Finnish-inspired appetizers and desserts during intermission. Here, Sons of Norway's Don Hagen with Capitol Communicator's Paul Duning, Hagen Inc.'s Wendy Hagen and Klurman Global Content's Carol Klurman.
